Topics include K9 field trauma management, heat injuries, GDV/bloat, accidental ingestion, emergency planning and preparedness, bandaging, body handling, and more.

Day 1 features classroom learning with hands-on practice opportunities, and Day 2 features practical scenarios drawn from real-life events. Scenarios are dynamic and require a high level of participation. Training is performed on a realistic K9 medical manikin, as well as live K9s as appropriate.

Course is open to Law Enforcement, SAR, First Responders, and civilians!
